Photos by Jens Andersson
Jens Andersson (born in 1974 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a photographer from the street and this is where he finds his inspiration: The Stockholm skateboard scene, homeless people, fashion, and friends gloriously bbq-ing in the nude. His work has been exhibited in cities around the world – Stockholm, Amsterdam, Tokyo, New York and Los Angeles to name a few.

Slussen is a documentary project about urban decay. Most of it was shot right before the Slussen area in Stockholm was demolished. The photos are all layered with maps and blueprints from the the time when it was built. A time travel document from the late 1930s until 2017.

JenSage is a collaboration between photographer Jens Andersson and Colombia-based painter Sage Vaughn. Big prints were sent back and forth over the Atlantic. The raw technique and harsh treatments of the photos created something new and interesting and after several years of correspondence, an artshow was born.

Kodak Hill. Kodak Hill used to be Kodak's Scandinavian HQ, located in the western suburbs of Stockholm. Nearly all analogue film was processed here in the 1970s and 1980s. When the digital era became a reality, Kodak abandoned the building which was taken over by graffiti artists and turned into a secret art hall. By chance, Jens Andersson discovered the original blueprints for the building and his documentary photos are printed on these original blueprints.
